Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026. This page explains what Swayam Planner stores and where. The app is operated by SwerahTech.

What you enter

Your email address and password, and whatever you add to your plan: your name, stream or course, goal, target date, study hours, roadmap, weekly plan, notes, links, mock-test scores, focus time and progress. Everything except your email, password and goal is optional.

Where it is stored

• Your account and your plan are stored in our database so they can sync across your devices. Your password is stored only as a secure, salted hash, so nobody can read it, including us.
• While you are logged in, changes that have not synced yet are kept in this browser's storage and removed once they reach your account. Your theme, text size, layout and language choices are kept in this browser only.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie that keeps you logged in, and one that remembers your language. They are not used for advertising or to follow you around the web.

Emails

When you ask to reset your password, we email you a reset code. Our email system can record whether an email was opened or a link in it was clicked. We never send newsletters or marketing emails.

Contact messages

If you write to us from the Contact page, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with privacy-friendly statistics that use no cookies: which pages are viewed, and the country, browser and type of device. These statistics do not identify you.

What we do not do

The app has no ads and no third-party tracking scripts, and we do not sell your data.

Third parties

Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf only to run the service. Fonts are served from our own site.

Your choices

You can save a backup, reset your plan, or delete your account from Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes your account and plan from our servers.
